Brittany carried the traditional bouquet of bows from wedding gifts.	Buttons. Buttons. Buttons. Bring the bride's mother, Donna Ballard, to her knees. It was a beautiful dress and a beautiful bride.
The wedding was held at Rucker Place in Birmingham, Alabama.	This view from the balcony of the elegant garden setting captures the ceremony.
The grooms' cake expressed the couple's Alabama loyalty. The cakes were done by Janet Allen at Angel Cakes and Creations.	The wedding party included friends from around the country with the bride's nephew, Ethan Fischer, and the groom's niece, Lily Butterworth, as the ring bearer and flower girl. The groom's two sisters stand beside him.

The joyous occasion held bittersweet memories because only one week earlier, Drew's beloved grandmother passed away. The groom's mother (me) sang Amazing Grace at the wedding honoring her.
