1. EZEKIEL1 SLAUGHTER was born 1729 in King William Co. VA. He married SARAH YIULLE BUTLER Abt. 1744, daughter of SAMUEL BUTLER and BARSHEBA YIULLE.

Source was "Blue Ridge Heritage Burnett, Branscome, Hylton, Cox, Slaughter and related families" by Dorothy Burnett Peterson. I obtained a copy of this material from a library in San Antonio, TX.in 1991. It was a second printing revise 1987. It is quite detailed on Ezekiel Slaughter of Halifax Co. VA and Greene Co. Ga. (my line). On pg. 182 it goes into a description of WEALTHEAN BUTLER, b. ca 1730 , d. before 1800, m. 1750 Ambrose Edwards, b. 1726, England immigrate d 1745 and died 1810, Kings William Co. VA. It goes on to list children, marriages and some of their children and grand children. Some sources are listed, but not all. I did not copy all , just portion on Slaughters. 3. REUBEN3 SLAUGHTER (SAMUEL2, EZEKIEL1) was born September 17, 1788 in Greene County, Georgia, and died January 03, 1873. He married SEMANTHA FLUORNOY.

4. MARY ANN4 SLAUGHTER (REUBEN3, SAMUEL2, EZEKIEL1) was born December 22, 1824, and died March 30, 1886 in Furman, Palmer Cemetery, Wilcox County, Alabama. She married GEORGE ABEL BARGE , CIVIL WAR, son of ABEL BARGE and MARTHA FAUST CHILES.
