Our Inspiration Pages are meant to make us think and grow. They will range from Hometown Heroes to sayings that inspire to personal family stories that lift us up. Share yours with us and let's focus on what's good about the world around us through these pages.

While the Bear Bryant tale may be the most famous, one of the most moving stories you will read is the story of the son of slaves, William James Edwards, great grandfather of Spike Lee, who overcame great physical challenges to found the Snow Hill Institute in Wilcox County, Alabama. But do not neglect reading about William Hampton Flowers who was the ancestor of many prominent Southerners.  His life is a reminder that one's future and the future of one's children might hinge on a single moment in time.

BOOBS (Bunch Of Old Broads) remind us not to neglect giving ourselves the gift of friendship.

Please take time to read the Words to Remember and Quotations for the Wise. Truly all of these will enrich your understanding of the world.
